It’s nice to believe, but is not the Democrat’s death march. YES - they have alienated a lot of independents and motivated conservatives, but Democrats have a year to organize the ACORNS, SEIU’s, and NARALS of the USA. They have a year to use the friendly state-run media to spin this as they like. Regardless of the outcome, they will have a story to spin that the loyal kool-aid drinkers will follow.

2010 will give us change, but will it be big enough to make a difference???

Sad to say your assessment maybe right.
Cheers and to your continual good health!

Our only hope is Tea Partys and town hall meeting attendence. It's in the senate now and these worms will be coming home again for the Thanksgiving/Christmas break. They need to see how PO'd taxpayers are with this garbage. They also need to answer why they exempted themselves from this enslavement.

I believe you are spot on. Whether 2010 will swing far enough into the GOP column is something non of us can guess at today. BUT you are certainly correct when listing all that conservatives and the Pubbies will be running against - the DEM party is the least of our concerns what with all the organizations that are propagandizing for them - add in half of America being so dumb they didn't know that GWB was not running Congress in 2006. If we are not going to vote based on land ownership (skin in the game), then at least have some sort of political intelligence test before allowing people to vote.

When Obama has in his pocket the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars left in the porkulus to use for buying votes in 2010 any change in the makeup of congress will be tiny. Further, given that the “republicans” handcuff themselves to the “don’t make anybody mad marquess of queensberry rules for politics” and are more concerned with big tent diversity identity politics than conservative principle..... well, the chances of slowing the march to totalitarianism is slim.

God bless America may she rest in peace.
