However, we have three successful car manufacturing industries, know ice hockey (a pretty dangerous game) and have beaten Russia in a real war (1795 they were very much ridiculed).

Germany and you Americans have not.

America and Europe should try and forget the conflicts between France and GWB.

I see now, you have made it perfectly clear. What I felt when I was in Sweden a few years ago and thought was just an aloof shyness, was actually jealousy and a severe inferiority complex. I thought of Swedes as my equals, (silly me) and you thought we were superior and it bugged the hell out of you.
