Rep Cantor, stop apologizing for Rush, T-party signs, and apologize to ME
vanity rant | Mamzelle

Posted on 11/08/2009 11:50:19 AM PST by Mamzelle

You apologize for what Rush says. You publicly grovel for some sign somebody you didn't know was carrying at a demonstration. You tell us no Republican will vote for Pelosi's monstrosity. You tell us that Rep Cao is the "face of Republican future." You support a Marxist for NY23.

I'm a Conservative who votes for Republicans and donates to them.

Apologize to ME.

Sure you are this huge “Conservative” which is why you spend 100% of your posting time here ranting “whaa this republican did this, this republican did that. Whaaa”

How about you put half as much energy into attacking the left as you do sniping at your own political allies for not being 100% pure and flawless like you?

Gosh, you’ve read 100% of my posts? I’m touched, but that must’ve driven you crazy.

When our “front line” spends time making headlines about another front line soldier (Rush), instead of educating the public about this atrocity...then he will naturally hear about it from the troops.

MN, I'm attacking a behavior, not an issue. And I'm attacking it because it's so stupid and ineffective. Every time Cantor or other trembly conservative allows himself to be a defensive tool he harshes the momentum.

Bad rhetorical warfare. It concedes to the premises of the left, that conservatism needs to be apologized for.

This is EXACTLY why were we are at this point in this Country.

You Freeper purists are so busy spending 100% of your time shooting at people who are 90% ON YOUR side you never have any time to EVER fight the people who are 100% opposed to your views.

And none of this is ever going to change until you all learn to focus on the relevant and quit wasting all your time and energy on the insignificant and the irrelevant.

Quit avoiding the point. If you tried actually thinking about the point I am making rather the rush to post a responses with-in 45 seconds you might finally understand the issue at hand.

You purists habitually emote rather then think your politics

God is perfect, nothing organized by man is. Learn to live with it.

Because you all spending your time ranting and raving about the 10% impurities in your own side rather then EVER taking on the other side on anything is why your side is losing every single political battle these days.

I don’t know what Eric Cantor supports or whether or not he is a RINO, but I know that Scuzzyfuzzy was/is farther left than Blue dog Democrats. Heck, she’s right up there with Nancy Pelosi. Scuzzy would have voted the straight party line, the Democrat Party line, that is. The GOP does need anymore turn coats to make us look bad, like Olympia Snowe. As a matter of fact, I would like to see the GOP strip committee membership from any Republican who gets a less than satisfactory conservative rating.

re: Useless and counterproductive for us.....works perfectly for his press clips.)))

It only works in so far as actually getting press when he does it. Does it even help Cantor's image? If he's so sorry about Republicans, why is he one? would be a legit question by the next MSM baiter. But I really feel that every time a Republican is thrown on the defensive, and in Cantor's case he embraces this defensive posture, we lose a little more steam. And the left gloats.

The left never allows itself to do this. Do Dems denounce Rangel? Does any Dem scold Olbermann?

Groveling only makes the left stronger.

Doesn’t even take 45 seconds to point out that my rant is about ineffective tactics, not issues, so “purity” is irrelevant here.

Oh, Cantor is a conservative, just not a very reliable one for our leadership. Boehner is conservative, and he got roped into supporting Scozzi. These were ideological blunders that I hope educated them about the intensity of the conservative base.

Cantor's certainly not what I hoped. This subservience that he assumes when around someone from the left just makes me cringe. Send up an Alpha dog.

Congratulation. You managed to wait a whole 3 minutes to respond and still missed the point completely.

This thread is and example of useful activism.

Your thread is an emotional hissy fit full of sound and fury but otherwise absolutely irrelevant and useless.

You are so busy looking for things to bitch at the GOP about, you have no time to actually do useful work.

Whatever. But next time you talk to Mickey, tell him that he’s only responsible for himself, and to stop apologizing for other people.

Yes, Cantor’s AARP comments made news at the Huff Po, but no major media headlined it.

BUT, his Rush comments headlined all major newspapers.

It’s just a matter of Republicans learning what works, and what does not. What info do they feel is most important to the public? Rush or teaching about the AARP?

well you said he wasn’t educating the public about the health care debacle and that is not true. The media will run with what it wants to run with.
