Just curious, when Americans witness a TERRORIST ATTACK that ends with the MURDER of many Americans, do they speak amongst themselves in a politically correct manner for fear that they might OFFEND somebody?
They are ready to say he has to much compassion and had “compassion fatigue”.
I can’t imagine anything more opposite of the truth and more of an insult.
Well according to our wonderful government they’re now called “Man Made Disasters” .....
Ya, I thought we’re not supposed to call them terrorist attacks, or call terrorists by that name. It’s just a man caused disaster.
When a Muslim who has rationalized suicide bombings and advocated their use in Time Square, in public forums, and shouts Allah Akbar before shooting 51 people, THAT is terrorism!
Would someone like to defend an alternate conclusion?
In private everyone can say it was islamic jihadi traitor the country. Not to many on this board let alone elsewhere is gonna take that talk to work. PC is still very entrenched at many many workplaces. The place I work is university affiliated so maybe it is just me...
Nope, I call a TERRORIST ATTACK a TERRORIST ATTACK. No BS here.
One should state exactly what it is and nothing else but a terrorist attack.
Heard the same point from many people yesterday - that when an attack is thwarted, it is called a “Thwarted Terror Attack” (i.e. Fort Dix, London)...but when one happens, it’s NOT called a Terrorist Attack.
The American people, yes but the US government o “man made disaster” is the preferred PC language in this administration.
I have a dissenting opinion, so please hear me out first.
If we can agree that the definition of terrorism is the use of violence to influence the outcome of political disputes, as opposed to warfare or diplomacy, then let’s examine the following.
We have no evidence that he was trying to make a political statement. It appears at this point in time that he was acting in accordance with his belief system, which is a religious duty to kill infidels. I submit that this was no more of a terrorist attack than a good old fashion “honor killing” which is also done in the name of Islamic belief.
This was no more a terrorist attack than the Egyptian who killed two Jews at LAX on July 4th, a couple of years ago.
Even the Egyptian who crashed his jetliner into the ocean was not acting as a terrorist, but killing infidels, in accordance to his Islamic beliefs.
This expression of Islam is murderous barbarism, it is savagery, but it is not terrorism.
Classic examples of terrorism are the NRA bombing buses in Northern Ireland, the PLO killing Jews, the Red Brigade bombing discos, even Al Queda’s original political objective was getting the USA out of Saudi Arabia.
These savages are killing because they believe they have a duty to do so. It is a death cult.
Use the left’s own language:
Speak of the murders as a “hate crime”.
It’s every bit as effective. Moreso perhaps. The left has been conditioned not to hear the word “terrorism”.
“Hate crime” on the other hand, is their own buzzword. It’s at their very core.
Use it. Repeat it.
“Religious hate crime”.
” Well according to our wonderful government theyre now called Man Made Disasters THE HEALTH CARE BILL is a man made disaster.
In this case a woman made disaster .... damm ......
Who was the boob that said a terrorist attack should be reclassified as some other form pf garbage. This PC crap has to go.
No, we call it an isolated incident carried out by an oppressed victim who murdered people only because evil white men made him do it. Race & religion have nothing to do with any of it. Except of course the white Christian males that oppressed the victim.
And if you extend the logic of calling this a death cult and not terrorism, then the next step would be to understand that you can’t negotiate with cultists, there is no political solution, there is no appeasement, and the only solution is to harden the country against them, much like the bi-partisan approach that worked moderately well when the country decided it was against Communism last century.
If we don’t, all we have to do is look at Great Britain as our own future of ineffective political correctness.
That’s what we’re calling it here in Texas...
AMEN!
