Perhaps the liberal agenda comes from Ayres. Perhaps it comes from Mao Tse Tung. The way liberals talk about it is straight from George Orwell.

I love how the democrat party keeps talking about a "Jobless Recovery."

In terms of economics, WTH is that supposed to mean?

"Yeah, there are tens of millions without jobs and unemployment numbers are only going to get worse, but things are just fine."

re: Economy Has Walked Back From The Brink

Sure it has. But we've had to spend every cent we have, every cent we can borrow, every cent we can print and we will still be leaving untold trillions of dollars for our kids and grandkids to pay back. It's much easier to make today work if you don't care about tomorrow.

There will come a point not even the most ardent Obama supporter will be able to gloss over what he's doing to this country.

the dims will put some creative accounting together to explain that 10.2% unemployment is really a gazillion jobs saved.

Some would say it’s only stepped back momentarily in order to take a good running leap over the brink. There’s still potential for total economic collapse:

- Commercial real-estate defaults
- Credit default swaps (CDS)
- Hyperinflation fueled by runaway gov’t spending

plus whatever China decides to do with our massive and increasing debt.

Not something the folks from “K Street” will be talking openly about...

Not to mention how many of us have lost work, aren't paying taxes, increasing the burden on the working. Untold trillions - just from the proposed 'health' care plan. Our great grandkids will still be seeing it. It's a mess, he and his advisers can't face up to that, throwing their own circuses to distract themselves. Walked back from the brink? More like a slow crawl, and we're still dangling over the precipice.

There will come a point not even the most ardent Obama supporter will be able to gloss over what he's doing to this country.

I hope you're right. I keep hoping some of the fellow Dems start to see it and spark debate in the Senate and House. I'm pretty sure some will still try to blame Bush, if they can face up to it. I hope they see it and soon.
