Photos of today's crowd outside the Capitol:
Bethany Stotts, November 6, 2009
Todays November 5 rally may have drawn as many as 20,000 protesters against the health care bill which will soon come up for a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives, according to an Americans for Prosperity representative. As Im no crowd size estimator, I wont even hazard a guess, but the panoramas below should give you an idea of how many people were there.....

I am afraid the terrible news out of Ft Hood has just about ruined the chance of the protest getting much coverage.
yep, they are not listening again.
Impressive for such short notice ay?
Palin/Bachmann 2012 “give estrogen a chance”.
I really don’t think it makes a diff that the protest didn’t get much coverage. Reason i say that is because all that matters is if Congress cares, and they don’t.
It never crossed my mind today to check with the dinosaur media. I came straight to FR and YouTube—where there is pleny of coverage.
yeah for all your guys who got there......thankyou for all you do....
WOW! How impressive - THANK YOU all that went!
convenient that bama was out west wasn't it.....
just why did this shooting take place TODAY....of all days....with bama very near....
just like the Oklahoma bombing....it was just a bit too coincidental that Clintoon was talking about gun control at the time....
I looked at every picture. Neat signs. The guy who had the sign on his shirt was clever. Truly a great great turnout. Thanks!
Did Sean address it tonight - show pictures? It would be good for all to see - it’s very encouraging.
Good sign and tagline!
Just got home to Michigan. What a great day in D.C. and sad one in TX.
Roaming the halls of the Rayburn Building today with hundreds of Tea Party Patriots was as good as it gets!
Darn, I wish I could've been in DC on Thursday... I did my part, though, calling Congress critters:
"STORM THE HILL" SWITCHBOARD CALL NOW (202) 224-3121 TO KILL THE BILL (post 46)
Thank you so much for being there! 20,000+... just incredible.
I'm envious... wish we could have been there. My husband and I went to DC for the big 9/12 rally, plus we attended quite a few Tea Parties between 4/15/09 and 9/11/09 here in the Hartford, CT area.
The 9/12 March on Washington was an event I'll remember for the rest of my life... There were no "reliable" estimates for the crowd, but I swear there were a million people there.
