Congratulations to the new Governors-Elect of Virginia and New Jersey! Id also like to offer a special word of support to the new Lieutenant Governor-Elect of New Jersey, Kim Guadagno, the first woman to hold that office.
Of course, the real victors in this election are the ordinary men and women who voted for positive change and a return to fiscal sanity. Your voices have been heard.
The race for New Yorks 23rd District is not over, just postponed until 2010. The issues of this election have always centered on the economy on the need for fiscal restraint, smaller government, and policies that encourage jobs. In 2010, these issues will be even more crucial to the electorate. I commend Doug Hoffman and all the other under-dog candidates who have the courage to put themselves out there and run against the odds.
To the tireless grassroots patriots who worked so hard in that race and to future citizen-candidates like Doug, please remember Reagans words of encouragement after his defeat in 1976:
The cause goes on. Don't get cynical because look at yourselves and what you were willing to do, and recognize that there are millions and millions of Americans out there that want what you want, that want it to be that way, that want it to be a shining city on a hill.
The cause goes on.
- Sarah Palin
Amen!! God bless Sarah Palin!!
Sarah, you are just..WOW, just AWESOME!!
Amen is right! This woman is a smart and effective leader!
“The cause goes on”. Amen.
This is true, by the way -- don't let anyone forget that a month ago, Hoffmann was a distant third.
Sarah's endorsement flushed the RINO, and in typical backstabbing fashion the RINO dropped out at the last minute while endorsing the DEM.
Newt and Steele suck.
Sarah has the proper attitude to carry on despite setbacks.
Cheers!
I love it when she quotes Reagan. Onward, Sarah.
She admires Reagan a lot. It really shows. I love it how she quotes him too. The Gipper is up in heaven smiling. Sarah is a class act all the way
HUZZAH!
Remember the Rinos ran ads against Hoffman before they ran ads for him.
I am always inspired by her. A true leader.
I like to imagine President Reagan saying, “Give em’ a kick for me, kid.”.
I’m reading “Sarah” (got it free at a TP).
SHE IS A RARE BREED! Todd Palin is probably one of the luckiest dudes on the planet! Imagine being married to this INCREDIBLE woman! She gives me goose-bumps.
Today at the hardware store, a guy commented (positively) on my Palin 2012 bumper sticker. He said D’s and R’s are both scared of her.
NY-23 sends a real message to the GOP.
45% of the electorate voted Conservative. 6% voted Republican.
Now, to the GOP, do you really want our votes or not?
She can be The People's president. The heck with political parties... I think this new governor of Jersey is of the same cut. A real populist who wants to clean up NJ. Voters like that. They are sick of the Slick Romneys and the overbearing Obamas. They want someone who will roll up their sleves and just get to work efficiently running the government nightmare.
BINGO! This is the 2X4 across the forehead! We got their attention...
First and foremost, they want your money. And then, if you do vote for the RINO candidates they shove down your throat, then so much the better.
Its either put up some conservatives or you can have your 5.8% of the vote.
