Britt quit his anchor post on Fox eve news I am sure so he could be more of a watchdog and say what he wanted as “guest” commentator. Ha. Love Britt!
It is always fun to watch him and Krauthammer tag team Juan williams! ha.

I was expecting Brit’s response to be: “Bill, you ignorant slut!”

BOR needs to get educated regarding his “climate change” spot, too.

He pretends there’s no harm in cleaning up the planet.

As though the Cap ‘n Trade bill had any such intent or effect!
BILL! Cap ‘n Trade is about redistributing America’s wealth to the 3rd world and destroying American industry.
It “cleans up” NOTHING and generates NO NEW ENERGY!
And of course, it has no net effect on the climate.

O’Reilly likes to remind his listeners that he went to Harvard. If his conversation with Hume is a guide, there must be lots of stupid Harvard grads.

I can’t figure out if O’Reilly is just being provocative or if he really believes some of these things - like “climate change.” He’s a smart guy and shouldn’t be taken in by this stuff. On the obama front - they’re both Harvard men...I wonder if O’Reilly thinks that means obama must be as brilliant as his PR team says. :)

Yes he did, and his degree is an MPA.

Public sector oriented. Gives some insight into why he seems to disconnect with realities of private sector and government involvement.

Source:Wikipedia

“The Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree is a professional graduate degree in Public Administration. The MPA program prepares individuals to serve as managers in the executive arm of local, state/provincial, and federal/national government, and increasingly nongovernmental organization (NGO) and nonprofit sectors; it places a focus on the systematic investigation of executive organization and management. Instruction includes the roles, development, and principles of public administration; public policy management and implementation; the relations between organizational management and legislators; the public and non-profit budget processes and financial management; administrative law; personnel management focusing on civil employees; professional ethics; and appropriate research methods.regional planning in order to equip MPA graduates with skills and knowledge covering a broad range of topics and disciplines relevant to the public sector.

BOR is the one guy on FOX who would turn on a dime if offered more bucks. Everything he does is about him. I wouldn’t be surprised if his continued defense of Obama isn’t a precursor to jumping FOX to CBS if Couric continues to bomb.

Did you also see the segment of BOR with Bernie Goldman? They both thought we are attacking obama too much. BARF. O’Reilly has been playing to his rat audience while it’s the conservatives who made his show successful. I hardly watch any more. I’ll flip past it to see if he has anybody worth watching on but I no longer sit for the full hour.

I hadn’t thought of that - it makes sense, and I bet you’re right.

I have a slightly different take on him. I think he's trying to get the respect of his media peers. He likes to portray himself as a "thinking critic" -- that he can make calls on the facts and the facts alone. Emotion doesn't enter into it. He disparages "ideology" (whose root word is "idea" so a "non-ideological" guy is one with no ideas).

So I don't think he's playing to Democrats -- he's trying to portray himself as someone "above the fray." We are all rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth partisans while he's a thoughtful, reflective guy.

In any event, he is intensely annoying.

The Ted Baxter of FNC wanted Hume to criticize Rush, of whom the radio failure is intensely jealous.

Brit declined.

Ted Baxter's never going to change. He is what he is, as dumb as that is.

My take is that he thinks he's auditioning for the white knight to take NBC to the ratings promised land.

There’s been a lot of talk, mostly by moderates or libs, that Limbaugh is way off base for saying Obama wants to destroy the U.S. economy. As Hume explained, destroying it does not necessarily mean totally dismantling the entire system. He means simply a form of destruction is going the way of the Euros in creating a nanny-state where the state burps you and tells and what to eat among other things. If you think I’m joking about telling people what they eat, by Brit in-laws told my wife and I of the E.U. bigshots who dictated the shape bananas can be. FYI, for E.U. members they have to be straight. That’s what a strong, centralized, Obamized country will do for us.
