Kosovo unveils a statue of Bill Clinton
The statue portrays the former president with his left arm raised while holding documents bearing the date when NATO started its air campaign against Yugoslavia 24 March 1999.
Why this is a farce: 1. It was illegal 2. It was poorly executed 3. It helped the wrong side 4. It produced the wrong outcome
5. The documents were stained with some sort of bodily fluid.
I want to see the monument to Sandy Berger and the Unknown Documents.
In which the United States sided with Islam in a situation where all sides were beneath contempt.
Well, Bubba’s decision to help the peace loving muzzies has HAD to have helped our relationships with the muzzie world! </Sarcasm OFF>
>>1. It was illegal 2. It was poorly executed 3. It helped the wrong side 4. It produced the wrong outcome<<
.
Good reasons to have Bill’s statue.
Don’t forget to mention that we bombed from a cowardly 15,000 feet (carelessly killing civilians) because (lacking any courage or any convictions) Clinton was not willing to risk the lives of OUR people.
If it’s not worth dying for, should we be killing for it?
Although the Kosovo adventure may have been bad policy (hell, Gen. Weasley Clark almost started a war with Russia at one point), I believe it's wrong to say that the war was 'illegal'. That's the same crap that the left throws at regarding Iraq.
Thankfully the GOP majority at the time did not go the route that many 'Rats want to go down today: the criminalization of policy differences. More proof that we're right, they're wrong, that's the end of the story (h-t to Andrew Wilkow).

I don't consider that an issue. First, just launching and landing fully armed jets from a carrier puts a lot of lives in harm's way. Second, they did shoot down one of our planes so it was hardly a safe mission in that sense. Third, a cause may be worth dying for but it would only be foolish and reckless to unnecessarily put men in harm's way.
The issue was the cause not the means used to accomplish it.
