This is DEFINITELY NOT Obama's America. Obama sees the government as the all powerful, all controlling center of people's lives, with his royal self as the center of the government.

True. The reality is that for all politicians greater power for government equals greater personal stature for them, and that is what it is mostly about. It's not money, but the ability to think of oneself as really ‘important’ that drives most politicians, with few exceptions.
