The Houston Astros have hired Brad Mills from the Boston Red Sox as their new manager....
They’ll still suck. The disAstros have never amounted to much.
Last time they hired a Red Sox guy it was Jimi (Hendrix) Williams. That didn’t work out so well.
Mets fan here, but in 1986 they had a darn good team, and played in what might be the best playoff game ever.
Was that the game where Craig Reynolds was two steps past first base when the ball arrived, and the ump called him out? Worst call i’ve ever seen.
Surprised they didn’t hire Ned Yost. The Astros seem to like cast off Brewers.
