ILONA'S STORY
Free Range Patriots ^ | 25 October 2009 | ILONA TROMMLER

"I came from where we are heading, I grew up in a Communist country. Unfortunately I see a lot of parallels between the then and there, and the here and now. I look at this national emergency as a manufactured crisis that provides the government with everything to do whatever they please.

There are many rumors, and they may just be rumors about something brewing in DC. This administration has worked very hard to begin a takeover of the government, and I don’t see them stopping. If they make the decision to go that route, no law, not even the Constitution will stand in their way. They are looking for power over the entire nation.

Where is the military if the government goes against the Constitution? Where is the police?

I wrote the following for the 4th of July, I hope it is an eye opener for all.

My Journey For Your Freedom!

On this day, the struggle to maintain freedom in our country continues! From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, our independence, the precious freedoms in it instantly became vulnerable to erosion to the ambitions of the self-centered, and the power-hungry..."

Some of you have heard me talk about "The Bridge at Andau" by James Michener, and the example of courage shown by the Hungarian people in their attempt to throw off communism during their 1956 revolt. Ilona and her family lived through it. Please read it - it shows just how bad a government can get.

The Hungarian people were, for the most part, already disarmed. That is not the case here in the U.S. If they come for our guns, there will be shooting. If they try to consolidate a dictatorship, there will be shooting.

It is amazing that people can be made to think they would be better off under communism/socialism. People should know better.

My ex-mother-in-law came to this country from Hungary about 50 years ago. She wanted the American dream but became a complete, flaming liberal. So much so, that after moving back to her mother-land, she ran an Obama campaign station. I cut off contact with her for all her gloating about Obama and the nirvanna of Hungary. I think that socialism is in her blood, never really an American. Obama legitimized her thinking and made her unbearable.

I’m sure there are exceptions, but once a socialist, always a socialist.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m interested in your story, should you ever choose to tell it.

Sincerely,

Jon

I think 90% of the people would give up their weapons because they are law-abiding. 10% will still be able to fight. I bet it was about 10% in 1776 too.
