Ah yes....the nation votes a black man into the highest office in the land and many expected to hear a little bit less of "white America hates the black man" kind of complaint. That wasn't the case with many saying "yeah but."
Maybe they were right....racism still is a big problem:
A university student has provoked a race storm after she was crowned as the first white winner of a beauty pageant at a predominantly black university.Nikole Churchill claimed she was subjected to racial abuse after she won the pageant at Hampton University in Virginia.
She was so outraged that she wrote to U.S. President Barack Obama complaining of her treatment, saying: 'I feel as though you could relate to my situation'.
~~~Hampton University is one of around 80 'black' universities in the U.S., initially founded to promote diversity and education among minorities.
~~~The five judges crowned her over the nine other contestants - all of whom were black. She was the first white woman to win the title at the university.
But the backlash began almost immediately, with some of the audience walking out of the auditorium as the announcement was made. In a traditional winners' photograph, two of the black runners-up are seen scowling into the camera.
The next day Ms Churchill was heckled at a university football game. Previous winner Patrece Parson said she was 'very shocked' at the judge's choice of a white woman, adding: 'We've never had one before'.
Ya think the Sharpton's and Jackson's would of been in front of the nations camera's if the roles had been reversed?

No don’t. The students voted her in, so tell the loud minority to STFU.
That’s not exactly fair. When one looks at the left wing faculty, the same can be said about most Ivy league colleges.
This story is a bit behind the times. The young lady has backed off her stance and apologized for it becoming such a big deal.
The winner is the only one in that group shot that looks vaguely attractive to me.
