Is it odd how anti-Palin polls pop-up all over the MSM? The few and infrequent polls that are less favorable to Governor Palin always seem to be big news. The reality is over 90% of the many 2012 polls show she is the front runner. Michelle Malkin’s Hotair.com offered the latest Poll on 2012 & Governor Palin with Sarah leading with 63% of the 4,538 votes cast.

Another important question is, has HarperCollins issued a 2nd edition of Going Rogue: An American Life?

If Palin is our nominee, Hussein Obama will get re-elected. We need a serious candidate for President, not someone who is already the butt of every comedian’s jokes.

"If Palin is our nominee, Hussein Obama will get re-elected."

What a complete tool. Were you born this stupid, or did you spend years working at being this devoid of brain function? Seriously. Inquiring minds want to know.

63% say they'd vote for Palin, yet you feel that she's somehow our death-knell? What a tool.

The only way Zer0 wins in 2012 is if we don't run Sarah Palin.

I am far more concerned about 2010 than 2012 right now to just have a stop gap for all the nonsense.

2012 will depend almost entirely, IMO, on how the economy is PERCEIVED to be doing in summer 2012.

Ironically a GOP comeback in 2010 is probably the best thing that could happen for Obama’s chances in 2012. Saving him from himself.

Though things could be bad enough that it doesn’t matter what he does.

YOu do realise that this is an internet online poll, not a scientific poll.

The scientific poll given on Hotair last week showed a much different result.

YOu do realise that this is an internet online poll, not a scientific poll.

Which poll is scientific? The one where Romney had a 78% favorable rating among Republicans (Rasmussen) or the ones where he's had a 50% rating (like PPP)? Both were national polls, both are very recent, and both pollsters are reputable enough to have an ongoing business.

Polls are as 'scientific' as the pollster can get away with (read: cheap), while maintaining a market. They are extremely subject to biases based on how the sample is constructed. Most reputable polling organizations even put a bias disclaimer on their work.

A truly scientific poll perfectly reflecting the voting public would have a large sample and would be ridiculously expensive, more money than their customers would pay. The ones being peddled are ALL approximations. Nothing 'scientific' about them. Some are better than others and there's no way in real time to tell which ones are the reliable ones. You have to go on historical accuracy at election time. That's all you have to rely on and it's no guarantee. Rasmussen and Pew were the most accurate in 2008 but they weren't in 2004.

Is the HotAir poll less 'scientific' than the ones in the news? Probably, but there's no definitive way to tell for sure. The online polls do have the advantage of a much larger sample. I have no way of knowing for sure how reflective the HotAir sample is of voters at large. Is it less accurate than the 'scientific' August PPP poll which has 35% of their respondents with a post-grad degree or work towards a post-grad degree? You tell me.

Palin is too much of a wuss in her interviews. We need someone tougher. someone that can put the MSM in their place.

Oh. I thought we needed a real conservative leader with a proven track record of amazing accomplishments, not another Obamoid Poseur Queen who gives good interviews.

Thanks for clearing that up, genius. And if you haven't had any kids yet, please.... don't. Thanks.

This ain't the 1980's, mullet-head. Park the Z-28, grow a brain, and ask Mom for permission next time you want to use the grownup's computer, girly-boy. BTW, why does your neighbor's trouser-chimp have your lip-prints all over it?

Yes, there is a "definitive way to tell". "Scientific" is a term describing how the poll is put together, not how accurate it happens to be (any poll has a possibility to be entirely wrong).

So yes, I can say DEFINITIVELY that the HotAir "online poll" put together in a blog entry about the Rasumussen poll is NOT SCIENTIFIC, and the Rasmussen Poll IS scientific.

Maybe the question you wanted to ask was whether we could know if the HotAir poll was more ACCURATE, rather than more "scientific". But I can definitively say that the HotAir poll is not accurate either.

If you took a course in statistics, you would understand that having more measurement points is irrelevant if those points are not controlled. A site pushing Palin, with a post pushing Palin, linked to web sites with Palin supporters asking them to go vote in the poll, is irrelevant.

Romney used to blitz polls like this, and we all knew they were useless. Now Palin is the one with the team of internet users hitting online polls.

I certainly like a canddiate that goes on hostile network and put MSM in their place, but you know Obama (the most intelligent president ever) don’t do that either. He does alot of interviews but they’re all softball questions that never challenge him on anything. That be like Palin going to all conservative radio talk show and fox news ONLY for her interview

Oh gosh. You’re a riot.

Seriously, the eighties could teach you a thing or two. Parachute pants and glacier glasses and a madonna bra on the outside would be a huge improvement to your persona.
