“If more of the people who said they liked Hunter and his stand had gotten behind him, instead of saying they couldnt support him until more people did, things could have been different today.”
Unfortunately most republicans prefer the guys CBS puts on the tube, McCain & Graham mostly, instead of a statesman of substance like Hunter.

Ditto. Maybe if we get organized early we can make a difference, this time.

Same here! Conservatives CANNOT allow the media to pick our candidate for us!!! It will destroy the GOP if we don’t take the party back.

What makes me tear up is having Sheila Jackson Lee as my Rep - gag!
Duncan Hunter’s constituents need to realize how blessed they are.

Yep. Hunter’s against the government health schemes, too, where his enemies, the [anti-]”growth” liberaltarian organizations would like to continue stealth support of certain versions of those same schemes (family-busting, anti-privacy, forced insurance payments,...). They want to use them to keep domestic business competition from starting up, to continue their fantasy about keeping anti-American deals with communist countries going. ...not to mention preferences of their politically correct families.
So the liberaltarians (misnamed “growth” this and that) bar Hunter from Republican politics and only help their liberal/affirmative action/feminist/NEA-supporting candidates to be seen with retarded bandwagon campaigns, name-calling, etc.

Thank you for telling us about your chance meeting with Duncan Hunter in your
comment #18. We do need a president, who is also a moral man of honesty with a mind of his own (as opposed to the other candidates, who work for a small pool of favored, bipartisan plutocrats).

Since he was the only Reaganite in the race, he was far and away my top choice.

BTW, we should also have a president who has a long voting record. All of the other candidates foisted upon us are stealth liberals for fascism and have short, negative (anti-American trade deals, etc.) voting records or none at all.
They spew dishonest rhetoric in agreement with us, then they act in office to continue offices and funding for anti-family programs, to support foreign enemy buildups against us (”free trade”), pass more regulations against small business starts, regulations against owner-builders...every measure they can have against domestic competition and for their tyranny.
We need a man as our president—a man who has proven his morality and masculinity. I won’t vote for any other kind of candidate for as long as I live. Hillary’s fans in both parties may go to their graves without seeing their Malthusian designs fully implemented.

Here it is. ...had to look up some codes to show it like this.
<a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2362704/posts?page=18#18">comment #18</a>
Let me know whether or not that shows correctly in your browser.
