Yet another article similar to what I mentioned in my email about my experiences (I went to forced-integrated schools, but I didn’t have the kids sent out to where I lived - I was bused into the inner city to go where they lived). We surprisingly (in the ‘80s) didn’t have racial incidents much. Thugs and bullies came in all shades, including the teachers and principals.
btw..even here in bucolic Williamson the public schools still preach “some” of the same crap espoused by NEA and modern textbooks
my oldest got in a row with his teachers over Columbus and his errant ways of not serving tea and crumpets to the minorities inhabiting these shores
So, I don't doubt the overall experiences the writer describes. But, I suspect she's using some creative license for dramatic effect. And I noticed all of the kids who committed wrongs are portrayed as victims of some sort in her article. (That kind of thinking is the crux of the problem.)
