This is an update to the "30 Arrests at Anti-Islam Protest in UK" story. While the Britishness supporting English Defense League was outnumbered, it appears that their numbers are growing. This is still hope.

If the hooligans ever decide to sidestep soccer, and get into this episode...the cops can forget about easy arrests. I’d hate to suggest hooligans being protectors of Great Britain....but they just might be.

Add to My Stories A Christian couple have been charged with a criminal offence after taking part in what they regarded as a reasonable discussion about religion with guests at their hotel.
Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang were arrested after a Muslim woman complained to police that she had been offended by their comments.
They have been charged under public order laws with using ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words’ that were ‘religiously aggravated’.
He added that the police had a legal duty under the Human Rights Act to defend free speech ‘and I think they are forgetting that’.

I would suggest that many of the soccer hooligans have become so because they do not have soemthing else to believe in. It used to be for God, King and Country that the English lived and died. This noble notion has long been attack and surrendered to political correctness, beer and the great religion of soccer. The nanny state has ripped the pride out of this great nation.
Nothing like a good stoush to resore some long lost pride!
