I sincerely doubt this had any meaning for Beck. However, for those who oppose Romney in part because of his Mormonism (that would include me), they should remember that Beck is a Mormon as well.

To me, Mormonism is a cult and an insult to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in that they use His name, but make for themselves a false Gospel. Because of this, although I appreciate Beck's willingness to take on the leftist establishment, I cannot trust him.

See, there’s that nasty freedom of religion / freedom of assembly thingy again. You are free but no one else is free. But you see, other people think your views are cult-like too. Doesn’t freedom apply to everyone or does it only apply to you and your creed?

God how I hate how we have a guy in the White House because you refused to vote for Romney over McCain. All because your intolerance blinded you. How is a Mormon any different than Presidents that were unitarian (John Adams), Quaker (Nixon), Deist-gnostic (Jefferson), Catholic (Kennedy), Non-sectarian (Lincoln and Reagan), or Episcopalian (Bush 41)? You really think Romney was going to have 5 wives and forcably convert you?
