Michelle Malkin is at it again and now she brings her shotty style of journalism to the ACORN story. She is jumping over a report in the New Orleans Times Piscayne that the embezzlement by Dale Rathke could have been as much as $5 million. First, here's what the Piscayne story says.
Louisianas attorney general has broadened the scope of an investigation of ACORN to include a possible embezzlement of $5 million a decade ago within the community organization, five times more than previously reported.
Here's what Malkin says about this.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports tonight that the ACORN/Rathke embezzlement sum was $5 million, not the widely cited $1 million figure admitted publicly to date by the left-wing racketeering group.

“shotty”? Boy, that’s the pot calling the kettle black.
It’s “shoddy”...not “shotty”...unless you meant to say “shitty”.
“Michelle Malkin is at it again and now she brings her shotty style of journalism to the ACORN story.”
SHOTTY style? This is an article about a SHOTTY style of journalism? Are they saying the journalism is hard and round, like a lymph node?
WTF??? Who wrote this crap?
Shoddy spelling. I lost interest somewhere before the end of the first sentance.
So Mike I assume you are one of those so-called real journalist? Bwahahahahahaha
“While we’re at it, who is the “Times-Piscayne?”
Maybe we should wait for a complete article...this could be hugh...and series...
Times-Piscayne?
>> SHOTTY style of journalism? Are they saying the journalism is hard and round...
Is that what them there real journalists call “burying the lead”? “Giving it to them with both barrels”? ;-)
Piscayne?
Piscayne, it’s in Blorida....
Unfortunately, I spent the time required to read the article, and the author contradicts himself entirely. After belaboring his “point” that the embezzlement itself was not reported to be $5 million (an error he makes because he apparently can’t read or conjugate verbs properly), he says he talks to a director who said that it actually was. This is a stupid high school newspaper article that wouldn’t have even made the cut if the school’s english teacher was any good...
uhkay
I came across this information by following links from Big Government.com after reading about the Republican law makers who are demanding that Democrat candidates return campaign funds from the SEIU because of the close ties to ACORN.
There is a web site by some Illinois Republican that is warning that the government ties to ACORN have been cut, but not the ties to the SEIU. He also gives a timeline history of the ACORN/SEIU ties, beginning with the formation of the SEIU by ACORN in 1982.
“This is a stupid high school newspaper article that wouldnt have even made the cut if the schools english teacher was any good..”
...or an Aggie?
My dad used to work on Flevrolet Piscaynes.

Louisiana Politics - ACORN embezzlement 5 million, not one million
Mike Volpe is a DOLPE!
What an idiot. She doesn't even get the name of the newspaper right.
It's the Times Picayune (named after an old coin) not the "Times Piscayne".
How can we believe anything else from this person when they can't even get the name of the paper right?
