Not hearing from Gary is a good sign, after approximately 2 hours into the hearing. If as some have speculated the case was thrown out, it would not take 2 hours to rule in favor of Defendant Obama’s motion to dismiss, more like 15 minutes and Gary would have phoned that in long ago. Hang in there people.

A two hour hearing does sound like the judge wants to be thorough and hear from everyone.

Okay, but I’m confused. I thought there was a hearing on Friday on the motion to dismiss and the judge shut down Obama’s lawyers? Was that just a preliminary hearing, and this is the final? Or what was Friday and what was today?

Judge Carter doesn’t even have to make any decisions today. It may come later.

What are the chances of a WaPo or Slimes reporter being there undercover? Just wondering out loud. I am sure SOMEONE is paying attention.

Just a legal question here. Can any lawyer out there explain what constitutes “legal standing” in a case? If, for example, H.R. 3200 (health care) is passed and signed by Obama, wouldn’t just about anyone have legal standing to claim that H.R. 3200 was not, in fact, the law of the land because it was not signed by a legitimate president?
My point is this... Can’t we all just file suit and have a legitimate claim to “standing” because we’re all affected by any “law” he has signed?
