Kevin Jennings, Safe Schools Czar, and criminal. Mr. Jennings admits to having known that a fifteen year old student had been seduced and repeatedly had sex with an adult. Mr. Jennings also admits to telling the students to use condoms for protection. There is a fine line between seduced and raped in this case. But, that isnt the issue. The issue in the criminality of Jennings actions.
Law enforcement, emergency responders, medical personnel and school employees are called mandatory reporters for a reason. If they know of, or suspect abuse of a minor they are obligated, by law, to report it. Their personal feelings on sodomy, homosexuality and same sex relationships do not matter. All that matters is if a law is suspected of being broken. Kevin Jennings did not follow through on his moral, ethical or legal obligations to report the sexual violation of a 15 year old boy by an adult. Kevin Jennings should be prosecuted for his crimes.
