The numbers of the wifes don’t correspond to the years. It is just a listing.
Here is Kezia’s account of wife 3.
Kezia says: “Barack was also worried about what his father would think because I was so young, but he gave us his approval. He sent my mother and father 14 cows for my dowry.
“Barack’s father was only a cook so it was a big sacrifice. Very soon after, we were married.”
That was January 1957. Kezia and Barack Snr set up home in Jericho, a section of Nairobi created for government employees, and began a family.
First son Roy was born in March 1958. Kezia insisted: “Barack was a good husband.”
Obama Sr’s school records show he left school in Kenya in 1953.

The students were taught sciences, art and technical subjects, including carpentry and tailoring.
Otula says Obama Sr went straight to the US from Maseno, to start his academic tour. He later married an American woman, the mother of Senator Obama.

This is Kezia’s side of the story, of course, but if true makes BO Sr’s marriage to SADO bigamous.
Kezia says she was married in 1956 including payment of dowry.
Kezia says BO Sr told his third wife that he was married to Kezia when he was caught in the hospital with the two wives together for the first time. The impression that the story gives is that Kezia and other Kenyans considered BO Sr a bigamist after he was caught, and not in a legal Muslim polygamous marriage.
As you say, this is such a legal mess that the probability of BO II ever being found ineligible due to being “governed” by the 1948 BNA at birth is remote because British dual citizenship can’t pass from the father via a bigamous marriage (as defined where the marriage occurred).
If BO was born in HI he likely has unitary natural born citizenship from his US citizen legally single mother, but until and unless SCOTUS rules, we do not know.
