Interesting statement considering your capitalization, punctuation and spelling errors.
When I was growing up in the 50s, I always heard that the American literacy rate was 97%. That was before the Dept of Educracy was created.
Now I find - after the DoEd was created - deadlinks online re literacy or that according to wikipedia the U.S. no longer measures literacy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_literacy_rate
or that “This government study showed that 21% to 23% of adult Americans were not ‘able to locate information in text’, could not ‘make low-level inferences using printed materials’, and were unable to ‘integrate easily identifiable pieces of information’.”

IOW, Michael Moore is wrong again when he implies that the existence of the DoEd has been good for literacy.
You mean all teachers are Republicans?
Gee Michael, does illiteracy have anything to do with public schools, dominated by left wing teacher’s unions, failing to teach kids to read and instead of having students read classic books they have them watch your crappy movies?
Let’s see mikey...the DofEd is still around and it has not been eliminated or cut back. If that’s true then people became more stupid in spite of the fact that the GOP was not successful in getting rid of the department. Okay, extending the argument it follows that if the Ed dept. was not eliminated and people still became more stupid then the problem was either the Ed dept. or the teachers/teacher unions. My bet is both; you fatass brainless lowlife rich boy.
Detroit: The Triumph of Progressive Public Policy
http://www.mackinac.org/article.aspx?ID=10743
Imagine a city where all the major economic planks of the statist or “progressive” platform have been enacted:
* A “living wage” ordinance, far above the federal minimum wage, for all public employees and private contractors.
* A school system that spends significantly more per pupil than the national average.
* A powerful school employee union that militantly defends the exceptional pay, benefits and job security it has won for its members.
* A powerful government employee union that does the same for its members.
* A tax system that aggressively redistributes income from businesses and the wealthy to the poor and to government bureaucracies.
Would this be a shining city on a hill, exciting the admiration of all? We don’t have to guess, because there is such a city right here in our state: Detroit
Looks more like the fatass canadian rich boy inhaled two or three people.
Clearly, Michael Moore is a product of the public school system.
Maybe Michael should get on a waiting list for a Lap Band procedure...in Cuba. Do it before the US Gov declares fat a disease. Can you see Michael cruising on a Rascal?
This is news? Michael “No” Moore has spent the last three decades blaming the GOP (or their “fat-cat” designates) for everything from his obesity to Amelia Earhart’s disappearance.
I believe he was paraphrasing Michael Moore.
LOL, I think that about sums it up.
