There's a new proposal for it to be a federal fine of $25,000 and a misdemeanor punishable for not more than one year for not buying health insurance.
This is one hell of a "Tax Hike" for the middle class, Isn't it?

Ultimately in that nosofaroff equalized Amerika, the US Congress will finally be relegated to having the same quality doktors that the peasants have, i.e., graduates from Honduras, Venezuala, Bangladesh, you name it. The only real doctors will have long since gone underground performing good medicine much in the same surreptitious fashion as the coat-hanger abortionists of the Pre-Progressive era.
The corollary would be a requirement to carry umbrella insurance in case you injured another person (accidentaly or willfully).

That’s my argument.
I am sitting here trying to do a cost benefit analysis of paying for obeying the health insurance requirement vs. going to jail for not purchasing.
Benefit(s)of complying with the gov’t:
1. can’t think of one
Refusing to comply with the gov’t:
1. One year off from work
2. No income to pay taxes on
3. Food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and prayer rug provided by the gov’t
4. Laundry done by the facility because I will of course not work while in jail
5. Free time for reading
6. Sticking it to obama...priceless.
