What was originally being billed as a 50,000 Muslim pray gathering, has now been documented as approximately 1000 Muslims showing up today at Capitol Hill.

The other 49K are too busy trying to find scarce supplies of hydrogen peroxide and acetone.

Yeah Right ... uh, now there's an excuse we all can believe in. I was a 9-12 marcher, we were told there would be people there "with guns" ... "police force would be excessive" and "anti-protesters" would be causing violence. That didn't happen, did it? But we SHOWED UP didn't we! Oh those "scary" conservatives ... all I saw at the march were 1.756,000 people making a very peaceful and poignant point. Reporting like this is BS ... a pretty lame excuse for just staying home and watching on TV. I wonder if CNN reported the numbers in the millions?

I saw a picture of the gathering. I counted 300,000 Muslims before quitting and I had only covered about 1/3 of the picture.

I am dissapointed. I really would have liked to see pictures of 50k Mohammedans with their heads to the ground and their butts in the air in DC. It would have been a sobering picture for many Americans who take Islam too lightly now. Of course it would also have convinced some legislators that we need to implement Sharia now.

You know, if 50,000 Muslims had marched on Washington after 9/11 demanding a stop to radical Islam, condemning terrorists attacks and hate speech (and naming those they knew in their community that condoned or promoted such), I might have believed the “religion of peace” crap. Heck, even 1000 might have made a difference.
