So was that the guy’s “backpack” (IED) that exploded, or another hellfire that hit the guys in the trees? They must be recruiting guys with no internet access - they don’t seem to have any idea that they stick out like glow sticks on the Apaches IR cam by the way they were waltzing through the treeline.
The muzzie leaders don’t think of the ground troops as anything more than pawns in the game. They tell them what to do and don’t have any reason to inform them of our IR capabilities. The more they tell the foot soldiers, the more likely it is that the foot soldiers will say “screw it” and disappear. Not all of them are so anxious to see allah right away.
