The new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll asked respondents whether they would prefer to see next year's elections result in a Congress controlled by Democrats or a Congress controlled by Republicans. The result: 48 percent say they would prefer Democrats in control, and 45 percent say Republicans. That three-point Democratic lead is down from seven points lead in July and nine points in April.

And I bet most of those 48 percent think the Republicans control Congress right now.

Like German tanks bogged down in Russia at 40 below, we have stalled the Baraqqi surge.
But the toughest fighting still lies ahead.

Poll internals:

Interviews: 1,005 adults, including 100 reached by cell phone
Date: September 17-20, 2009

Not a poll of registered voters, nor of likely voters. The mainstream media continues to perpetuate a lie of electoral support for democRATs.

Does this poll have the usual sample spread of 45% Democrats, 35% socialists and 20% RINOs?

Good. I don’t want people to simply hate the Dems, I want them to hate the government and politicians in general. That’s the only way to avoid simply flipping the coin in 2010 and 2012. We’ve been doing that like clockwork since 1992 and things have gotten progressively (pardon the pun) worse for this country since.
