John McCain's campaign foreign policy advisor, Randy Scheunemann, has emerged as an advisor to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as she attempts to build a serious public profile and begins to build a network of aides and advisors typical of a national politician.
Scheunemann confirmed this evening that he's with Palin in Hong Kong, where she is delivering a paid speech at a conference hosted by the brokerage house CLSA, which has in the past heard keynotes from Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

This is the guy who was fired because he stuck up for Palin when the rest of the McCain team was trying to cut her off at the knees, he went to the mat for her...
Some people are speaking out of school about this guy.

Scheunemann is a good strong national security guy. To deduct that everyone on the campaign was a RINO fluke is IMO grossly unfair. Some of them were staunchly on Sarah's side. Scheunemann defended Palin strongly and allegedly ruffled feathers with the rest of the campaign because of this:
Randy also defended Palin against the lib mole Nicole Wallace.
His foreign polcicy is anti-terrorism and anti-Putin.
Scheunemann was the only one of McCain's staffers who stood up for Sarah when Schmidt, Davis, Salter, and Wallace were stabbing her in the back during the campaign. Davis fired him for it, so he's one of the good guys.
There were some good people working for McCain, and there were some bad people. This was one of the good guys.
To spot which ones were the bad guys, see to whom they flock over the next couple of years -- that will tell you who they are.
He’s okay. He is a hawk when it comes to Ukraine and Georgia defending themselves against Russia. Plus, as others have noted, he defended SP last year when the McCain traitors where stabbing her in the back. He values loyality.
Yes. Scheunemann was the main debate prepper on national security issues, I believe. He defended her all the way through. Smart guy and good man.
It is important for Sarah to surround herself with people that are ‘loyal’ to her. She has good political acumen and instinct.
Read the astute post of #22.
“Some people are speaking out of school about this guy.”
Hannity has been having Wallace on his show lately.
I turn the channel and write about it on his blog.
Her presence is wholly unwelcome on my TV anytime.
