Again, I do see him using this issue to paint his opponents and gain political mileage Let me let you in on a little secret, your Bama is loosing political mileage every day. If this was a positive for him, he would be spouting about it each week instead of pulling every string he can to cover it up. As I said before about your logic, BULLSH*T!

Again with the reading comprehension problem! He ain't "your Bama", I didn't vote for him, I'm not a supporter of him, his polcies, or his party. Why do you not understand this? He IS getting a bounce, and yes, it is falling again. However, pushing this issue TOO FAR can in fact lead to a backlash. He will try anything and everything he can to hold on to popularity as long as he can. Perhaps even he realizes he's going to have a very difficult time passing any significant legislation after the 2010 midterms and is trying to get as much done now while he still has the political capital.
But, I reiterate, the birther issue simply isn't taking hold with most Americans. I wish you could see it differently, but if you can't, c'est dommage. His falling poll numbers have nothing, repeat, NOTHING, to do with his citizenship.
