I don’t think it’s dead, either. We need to keep the pressure on them. BO is going to be all over TV tomorrow morning, so all those websites need a message rebutting whatever BS he delivers. Congress is dead set on doing something, regardless of how misguided or disastrous. The message about their re-election chances needs to be pounded home.
Sadly I have to agree. So let’s keep beating on it until we can be sure.
But what is it going to be? The Backus bill was DOA ... no one attended the roll-out expect the fringe media.
My guess is Peloser is still sticking with her turkey HR 3200.
Agreed, I don’t think it’s dead either. Over the course of the next months if they cannot get their foot in the door, they will get the tip of a shoelace in and trumpet a victory. There will be try after try after try. Sooner or later, they’re bound to pass something.
I have seen no details from the Baucus bill, I don’t know if the details have even been made public. But I can tell you this idiot Baucus would tax you on the number of times you blink your eyes if he had his way.
If all we play is defense, they will one day win. A month? A year? 10 years? Who knows. We have to aggressively move to take government out of health care. Otherwise little by little we will lose on this.
