Great job! Many thanks to you for taking the time to go and post.

Fox and Glenn Beck had it on live. I think MSNBC had some coverage as well as CSpan. My clicker will not go to MSNBC but they listed it on cable listing on my TV as Healthcare March.

Like it was some freaking march to support ObamaCare!

Thanks for posting this. I spent Saturday in a crowd of 100,000, and it was nothing compared to the pictures I’ve seen of last week’s march. Wish I could have gone to Washington. You certainly represented tens of millions of us!

I think that most English professors from the fancy universities would cringe at being there.

Welcome.

Welcome to FreeRepublic. I for one am glad you have awakened.

I recommend two things, though, as follow up to your march on DC.

First, write a letter to your Congress Critter and to your Senators. Tell them you were there, and maybe ask them why you didn’t see them. Give them a full report.

Second, write a letter to the editor of your local paper. Keep it very short and to the point (two or three short, intense paragraphs). And tell why you went, and that you saw hundreds of thousands of people there. If it is published, even online, post it back here to let everyone know it got through the Party Propaganda Ministry's filters. But don’t feel bad if it doesn’t get published.

Great recap of your experiences in D.C.

I, too, believe that when you are surrounded by happy people, you become happy.

That’s why I spend so much time on FR.

Welcome aboard!

I must say I had very similar feelings. And yes — the crowd was MASSIVE... (pay no attention to the detractors)...

It was a very reassuring experience in these near crazy times... just to be among so many like minded people after all these years in the wilderness... wonderful - just wonderful.

There will have to be a ‘next time’ and soon as the Leftists just go not get it... even after the plain and apparent evidence marching in their faces...

However - those up for election in spring primaries or in the fall of 2010 are just plain stupid if they do not pay attention to what happened on 9/12 - a historic event indeed.

Welcome.
Did you really see signs that said “bury Obama with Kennedy”. Or, did you see
bury Obama’s healthcare with Kennedy? Just clarifying.
Wonderful report, it was a terrific turn out of Patriots from all around the country.
As a new member of FReeRepublic, please fill out your homepage. Go to Acct. which is at the top of the page, go down to personal and add at least the State you are from, and hopefully a little about yourself.
Continue your spirit in defending this nation. You did a great job already.

Welcome to FR! Your post is VERY refreshing. Thanks for taking the time to put it down in words--they helped me "see" things as if I were actually there.

As you pointed out, there are a WHOLLOTTA people out here who are tired of being silent--and sitting around watching the values this nation was founded on being trashed quicker than an American flag at a Democrat convention!

God bless you--and enjoy your "stay" here at FR (have been here over 10 years myself, and it's a GRAND OL PLACE to be! (Not pitching any political party, but do remember way too well the shame of knowing my vote for a third party brought Clinton into the Oval office. Do NOT want to go there again!

Anyway, thanks again for the delightful post.

I was there Saturday too - and my husband & I both commented on how everyone had a big smile on their face! I didn't see one angry person. It was wonderful being amongst so many like-minded patriots. I'll never forget it. Here's some pictures we took:

I was there too and I’m tired of the state-run media and phonies like Bill O’Reilly deliberately understating teh attendance.
