Are you a teabagger?,you must be a teabagger? In which I respond You must be watching some Rachel Maddow, Nope, are you a teabagger? Thats what you are called, right?
I was then told that teabaggers were racist, and the protesters at the rally only came out because they hate blacks. WTF!?!

Of course they know...they all know. That is why they’re using it. Oi...
Does she believe that government should redistribute wealth?
What about grades in college? Should those that are smarter, work harder and put forth tremendous effort to excel be forced to give grade points to those that party and never study?
If at all possible, this would be the way to go. Or try to build a firewall where politics are not discussed.
You know what I think is really going on--they're trying to establish their moral superiority. Or your very existence, happiness, is a reproach to their position.
I think a conservative can like a liberal, but I don't think it's possible for a lib to like a conservative.
Ewwww....
My patent reply:
“I have no issue with him being black. I have an issue with him being red.”
All the more true as of two nights ago.
I was going to provide the actual link for you, but it's so vile, I don't want to soil FR with it! I'm sure you can find it on the site... ;-)
“Not if you love them.”
I can’t love people who hate America, no matter who they are. I can’t even be around them, and they’re not welcome in my house.
Good questions. She just thinks the govt should help everyone. She says she doesn’t think it’s right that management doesn’t share the work at her job. She hasn’t really been challenged to think beyond that. I told her charity is a personal responsibility and that management doesn’t get paid to work. That’s why they hired her. Like I say, it’s a work in progress. lol
So if it’s your mom, dad or child, you would turn your back on them. That’s hard, Madam. My relationships with my family are more important than my political views.
I know that only too well. I worked in a university for 28 years. My grandkids have been indoctrinated. Makes you ill.
Bland responses such as "Interesting" or "no kidding?" or "Where did you hear about that?" may be helpful.
Best wishes, FRiend.

I understand. We have family who are extremely liberal. It's very difficult.
So, your family members are emotionally driven people that turn to name calling instead of understanfing facts and logic. They lead their lives, no doubt, through fear and ignorance.
As you, my relationships with my family are more important than my political views. However, my COUNTRY is more important than certain family members. For the big picture, it’s for the family generations from now that you make choices today.
I agree. My family means all to me and even though half of them are liberal, they would never call me names and we just ignore politics. We don’t lack for other things to talk about.
lol.
Yeah, but when you silence them with the truth and facts on one issue, they just slink away....only to bome back at you with yet another issue.
I found it’s easier to just take the handouts they offer you, smile and then promptly trash it. Laughing at them behind their back for their sheeple-like stupidity is more fun than arguing.
I was told that I hated government by clinton worshippers.
It is when they cannot refute you that they resort to shouting slogans.
In other words, the truth hurts. They can’t stand it.
Most of the idiots on the left can’t differentiate between government and big government, and don’t have a clue what big government equates to, much less why we conservatives are against it. They’re simply dumbed down useful idiots to the leftists.
If we’re unable to keep the commies from taking over America, you might get the chance to ask your relatives how they like that government NOW. Then again, you might not.
Exactly. I see my son so seldom because he lives in AK, that when we do get together, I avoid religious and political conversations. I’d rather be there with him and his sweet children.
