A Gesture Here, A Gesture There…

The IDF early Thursday morning caught three Arab terrorists, one of whom was carrying an eight-inch knife, approaching Meitzad in eastern Gush Etzion, located southeast of Jerusalem.

No one was injured, and the security personnel are interrogating the terrorists, who admitted they intended to carry out a stabbing attack in Meitzad.

The attempted attack came less than 24 hours after Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the removal of 100 security checkpoints and dirt roadblocks in Judea and Samaria.

No one was injured in the attack, and no damage was reported. All right, maybe some Israelis were a bit frightened for a few moments but no injuries and no damages resulted. Hmmm… maybe gestures do work.

Hey Rahm, here’s an idea for ya! Why not suggest to your boss that he should pressure Israel to dismantle its army? Think of it! That would be far more dramatic than merely another gesture! And the benefits?!? Once the Arabs see how much Israel is doing for peace they’ll send their armies in and finally destroy it. Then they could have a holiday celebrating Arab heroism. Not only would that end the Israeli/Palestinian problem but the Arab world might be so happy, they’ll probably consider lowering the price of oil for a day, or even a week! What do think Madam Secretary of State? Brilliant plan, no?
