After days or denying that the explosive video tapes were tantamount to a larger problem, ACORN did a pivot today and it's CEO, Bertha Lewis, made this announcement.
In a press release, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis says, that as a result of the indefensible action of a handful of our employees, the group will immediately stop accepting anyone into ACORN office for service programs, will conduct in-service training of staff, and begin an audit to review all of the systems and processes called into question by the videos, to be conducted by the groups Independent Advisory Council.
The Council includes many prominent Democrats, including the man who helped President Obama Transition Team, John Podesta, President and CEO of the Center for American Progress; former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend; Andrew Stern, International President of the Service Employees International Union; and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros.

Ever notice how the BIG ACORNs ALWAYS pin the crap on the LITTLE ACORNs? Who is training ACORN’s low tier, useful idiots anyway?
What a joke.
Keep carpet bombing them.
Investigation. Most of the Congressmen and Senators assigned to the investigation will not show up for the hearings or fall asleep during them.
HUD is training them.
I wonder if the IRS will let ACORN audit themselves, too.
FOX is reporting the Louisiana has Subpoenaed Wade Rathke and the books.
That would be huge, though I think they are slightly inaccurate. I think it is Wade Rathke that has been subpoenad and not necessarily their books. Also, the key is the books of CCI not even ACORN. You need to see where the money starts and where it goes, and that requires looking at the cCI books.
I’ve been saying for a while that La. investigation would be huge and so far it is moving along well.
Earlier I heard that Rathke had been ordered to appear but BOR says they’ve subpoenaed the books. We shall see.
if anyone wants to do a little investigation into the San Bernardino women...
Alpha B in the comments section says there is a dead husband.

apparently, it may be her son, a JR, that is dead...
New video on Hannity. This time the ACORN official offers to help with the smuggling of underage illegals for prostitution.
He says he has contacts.
devastating..not surprising...looks like Breitbart is going with what posters here suggested...hold off for a bit with the rest.
I think Fox is going to end up hiring Hannah.
He has been doing that from the start, it appears they have 27 tapes to release total. Should have been one released tonight but it isn't on Breitbart's site yet. Part 2 and 3 of the San Bernardino woman are up though.
No he hasn’t. People here were suggesting waiting for awhile to see what comes up..and leave people guessing and not knowing how to cover their butts.
Breitbart said it would be awhile before the next tape...which is what people here were suggesting.
The next tape was released tonight at 9 PM EST. I am sure the one after that will be released tomorrow. As for FReepers suggesting, yes they did, but Breitbart and Beck have been dribbling them out already, one day at a time, if they wait two days for the next one that doesn’t meant they took FReepers advice. As far as I am concerned one a day keeps ACORN at bay. Releasing them they way they have been has caused ACORN to make several mistakes already, and now today they stopped making the smear excuse and are going to “investigate”(we all know how that will turn out). The point is, they were already releasing them slowly. Period.
Did you watch the segment? Breitbart said it will be awhile before the next one.
You miss my point, but that is ok, if you think FReepers influenced him then fine, think that way.
