That’s the official liberal/Democratic response. They’ve toyed with it and used it here and there since you started to speak out, but now after somewhere between 1.5 million and two million of you showed up in Washington D.C. this past Saturday they are going to beat you over the head with this.
Representative Joe Wilson is now a “racist”. Doesn’t matter what he actually believes or what he’s done in his life. He’s a racist. Why? He disagreed with Barack Obama and shouted out “You Lie” during the President "Always Ready for Primetime" Obama's address to Congress.
Never mind that the Democrats have a long history of openly booing Republican President’s like Cub’s fans boo the Cardinals, that was then, this is now and you’re a “Racist, Mr. Wilson”.
Never mind that Wilson apologized to the President, who accepted the apology. Never mind that Prime Minister Nancy Pelosi said she would not seek sanctions against Wilson. It doesn’t matter. Hey, Wilson you’re a “racist”. Of course now Pelosi and the Congress are going to seek sanctions against Wilson.
If only this were the first case of hypocrisy in politics.
