Since the Race Card has again been thrust upon us via Joe Wilson's yelling "Liar" at the President, and then, consequently, being accused of a being one of those Southern Bible Belt Racists, I thought it might be time to look at some real racism running rampant throughout the United States.

Maureen Dowd and other desperate liberal pundits have been waiting to pounce on us bigots at the Tea Parties, Town Halls, conservative radio stations, and in good ole American families but nothing has stuck. Thank be to God for Joe Wilson who has opened the door to expose those nasty prejudicial people who only dislike President Obama for his race and absolutely not his politics.

Its like our inner sanctum of conservative secrecy has been discovered, and here we are, naked and ashamed because one of our "brothers," Joe Wilson, blew our cover and revealed that we are nothing but kloseted KKK members.

In actuality, the desperation of the Left is convincing so many Independents as well as Democrats (those who pay taxes and enjoy freedom, and who are not members of Acorn), that their leftist elite leadership is absolutely bonkers. Thank you, Maureen Dowd.

If you want to see real racism where the rubber meets the road, look again at a story from Akron, Ohio (formerly Rubber Capital of the world) where 50 black kids beat on a white family, while yelling "This Is A Black World."

More racism that was not motivated by Joe Wilson was noticed in Cleveland where 20 black youths beat up a lone white boy (isn't that the way it always is?) at a Catholic Italian church festival seen here.

Just this past week, 2 black school students mercilessly pound on a white kid on a school bus while other riders watch and have a good hoot. Video here.

Time nor space permits exampling so many rash incidents which are examples of certain African Americans feeling a bit too uppity (sorry for choice of words) about the election of Their Man who has become The Man - Barack Obama.
No one can whip up people like BHO as he calls out to a crowd in Minnesota, "Are You Fired Up?" . . . "Are You Fired Up?" . . . "Are You Fired Up?" . . . "They Can't Stop Us!". . .

I think I first noticed these special privileges being perceived by blacks when the famous Peggy Johnson proclaimed to the world on camera at an Obama campaign stop that Obama was going to "Pay my mortgage and my gas."

Talk about chutzpah, how about those Acorn nuts, and the Philadelphia New Black Panthers with billy clubs "protecting" voters?

Just to confirm my I have black friends bona fides, or street creds, I do have black friends, brothers at church, I supported Alan Keyes, Ken Blackwell, Jesse Lee Peterson, etc. I even, once upon a time, taught Sunday school and attended many revivals at black churches (not the Jeremiah Wright kind). The one African American church I taught at sort of evolved into more of a Black Power than Christ Power church, so I, in response, sort of left.

I like black gospel singing, and sing it myself. I always like the fiery hot-collar preaching of legitimate black ministers. That does not include President Obama's sermons which do not inspire people to do anything but "Get It On With Your Bad Self." And I do mean bad. And I do mean Maureen Dowd bad.

Some blacks are but many other blacks are quite embarrassed by the antics of role models like Kayne West and very disturbed by the Belleville West Bus beating yesterday.

Although I agree with you, I put your response (and my frustration in typing this reply) in the same category as asking the good muslims to stand up and denounce the islamofacists. I am waiting for the majority of blacks who do not stand with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, and who agree with Bill Cosby, that the problems in the black community are not the fault of whites but actually the fault of government welfare, the entitlement mentality, and black racism.

When getting good grades is bad because it makes you too “white”, that points to a learned racist response created by multiple generations of confusion brought on by first a demand for integration followed by a demand for segregation. If our mutual optimism is to be confirmed, we need to see a grass roots black effort to denounce the RAP and bling generation, and meaningful movement toward ending the broken record of blaming whites for all of their problems. The animals referred to in the article were only acting out on the message they continuously receive through the so-called black leadership and black entertainment as promoted by organizations like Acorn and the New Black Panthers.

Patriotic Democrats like JFK and Harry Truman are flipping over in their graves like the positive thinking black leaders who followed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and actually believed in his message.

It’s our responsibility to objectively rebuke unfair charges of racism while at the same time, not allowing ourselves to be drawn into a race war that many of those in power would like to see.
Accusations of racism where it doesn’t exist is a form of taunting.
We can pull that rug out from under them by not stepping on it ourselves. And we can do it with maturity and intelligence.

I saw that video of the student attacked on the Belleville school bus and it made me sick to my stomach. If you don’t think that was a racist attack then you are blind! My 2 boys were on a similar bus and because of all the problems they were having on it we simply started driving them to school.

My youngest boy 13 years of age is becoming more racist himself due to all the %&^#@ he goes through every day at middle school. We have tried to change his attitude, but I’m afraid no matter what we say to him he won’t change his mind. The other day at school his teacher held a small memorial/tribute to those who perished during 911 and he said all the white children were very well behaved, but the black children were snickering and being disrespectful. So how do you explain why they acted like that to him? He sees one common denominator.

The boy on the bus also reminded me of my son. The boy was said to be a “nerd” “quiet” and he was “white”. Those qualities defined my son as well and thank God we had the sense to put him in Karate when he was 6 years old. A young black tormentor of his finally got his comeuppance when he tried to trip him in the hallway at school. My son the “quiet” one beat the living $%#@ out of him. It took about 5 people to pull him off of him. The kid never knew what hit him. The attack was so fast and violent that he was suspended for 5 days and we had to take him to the county courthouse on a Saturday for a mandatory anger management class. Now the “quiet one” who gets A’s and B’s has a whole new level of respect at his school and nobody messes with him. It is sad that it had to come down to fighting to get this respect at such a young age.

My wife volunteers at both my kids schools and the level of disrespect shown by young black students to teachers is awful. Even the so-called “rednecks” at least she says have some manners. Since we moved to the south (NC) we have all come to see racism, but mostly on the black side.

I don’t think things will ever change here in the south as long as children are brought up to disrespect their teachers and act like thugs.

Is there any possible way to remove your child? Is homeschooling and private schooling absolutely impossible.

Also...There are schools that are so morally, spiritually, and physically toxic that it would be better for a child never to attend. No, formal education would be better than to endure what many children suffer every day in their schools. ( I **seriously** mean it.)

It would be safer for many children ( and they would likely learn more) if they merely took books out from the library and read them. If there are any deficiencies they can be addressed with remedial courses at a community college.

My kid doesn’t feel abandoned whatsoever and does have friends at his middle school and a great home life. I am sure the majority of kids at his school feel the same way that he does about race. Think about it just for a moment - when a white kid beats up a black kid at school everyone hears about it. The same applies too if a black kid beats up a white kid. After the fight he was involved in many white boys came forward and basically patted him on the back for it was as if he was scoring one for the white side. As they saw it someone finally stuck up for them by putting the racist black bully in his place. Crazy isn’t it? But the black kid who got the surprise of his life for pushing the wrong white boy around once too often also had his friends come forward and ask why he beat up their “homie”.

The color lines will always be there as far as I am concerned. The only way to change things is through education and if the parents aren’t educated then chances are their children won’t be either as the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. The cycle will continue on and on and nothing will change.

I will be putting my son in a private school next year when he starts high school as this is just nuts.

Sorry if I offended you but according to the percentages of black vs other races in America, there is a disproportinate number of blacks in television, sports, etc. The left is so passionate about affirmative action. Black people make up approximately 12% of the population, I don’t see more than 12% of television performers being black AND what is the problem if blacks make of more than 12% on television. It is only....television, which is only supposed to be entertainment at best.

Your child can’t become a racist unless he gets reinforcement for that at home. It is our jobs as parents to teach our children to be respectful of all people, no matter their race. My children, who are biracial, are not without conflict, but we constantly reinforce that they should be respectful of all, especially their elders. My kids are very excellent students and I always get raves about their manners and behavior, where ever I go.

The Today Show just had on a black professor (Dyson?) who claimed that Wilson said, “You lie, BOY” and mentioned the term “uppity N-word” - when asked if he had actually heard those words, he said no but it was implied!! It was surreal!!

This asshole is a microcosm of the larger problem. I don't know how to solve the larger problem but this racist jerk needs his ass whipped!

All schools have behavior problems. The kids know that they can cry racism and the teacher will get in trouble.
