This was a good point. We can’t make the mistake of going to a third party. We must reform the Republican party - clean it out if we need to, and start over. But DON’T go Third Party. We have the Democrats where we want them. Dividing your voters in half ensures a loss. I think we’re positioned to fundamentally change the Republican party. What we have to work on is GETTING GOOD PEOPLE IN THE REP. PRIMARIES. This is the key to change.

We also have to be careful not to try and clone radical democrats into republicans or conservatives they have to be sick of the corruption on their own if they are not they will just disrupt and corrode conservative ideals trying to divide the party from within...

There can be NO compromise with founding ideals if this is going to bring us back to Constitutional Republic we as a people are not a Democracy {mob rule} We the people are a Republic A Constitutional Republic

Beck is awsome to hear but i think he like i is scared to death of a civil war right here in our own back yards you can see him hold back when he speaks and search for words that will uplift without trying to enflame an already angry public ....

He certainly has passion for country as we all do but like the rest of us trying to find a civil solution is like haystack hunting and all the needles are poisonous

Lets weed out the corruption and be careful not to rub our eyes with the poison ivy .

I agree. I want my party back. Why should I abandon it to a group of tffee-nosed Johnny-come-lately types? Besides, it is better to have an existing party apparatus in place instead of trying to build them from scratch between now and November 2010 and 2012.

An even bigger key is to close the damn primaries; or the democrats are going to wind up choosing our candidates for us again...

Amen, Amen. I heard Rush today and I just posted the same sentiment on another thread. Now this O’Keefe fellow and Miss Giles are ABSOLUTELY heros and we need more of this type of stuff. We are only countering 30 or 50 or 70 years of subversive communist action in this country.

ACORN is absolutely commie, through and through and I’ve known this for long before I ever heard of National Review or anything else.

BUT, we will never be able to concentrate enough power in the libertarian party, or the conservative party, or the right to life party, or any other such party.

Did the left do that? Did they run a commies, or greens, or anything else? NO! The left took over the dem party, and all Bill Clinton’s “new democrat” efforts were in vain.

Exactly! If we can’t take over a party how the hell then can we take over a country? Third party is for losers. We need to take over the Republican Party and steam roll the statist.

I’m against the idea of a third party.
But it is up to the GOP to attract conservatives who are sick of big government.
The fate of the Republican party is in their hands.
It’s their choice whether they ignore the teaparties or embrace them.

We will know the answer to that depending on if Mike Pence becomes Republican Leader in the house, and if the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee continues to endorse and finance Charlie Crist in his run against the conservative Marco Rubio.

Yes, I agree fully, a third party would only hand it to DEMS.
I don’t think this point can’t be stressed enough.
