Tea Party Attacks: Leftists Clinging To Political Anachronism

In the wake of the Sep 12th Tea Party in Washington, DC, Leftists are increasingly concerned.

And the concern is well founded.

The size of the Tea Party far eclipsed the estimated 10-20 thousand that were originally expected. The hardworking, patriotic Americans that descended on Washington represented nearly every state in the nation and every economic class. They came to express their frustration at a Federal government that has summarily taken their liberty and threatened their way of life. And they have found their voice—a voice that is growing and becoming more confident as these average Americans learn how to actively demonstrate. This is new ground for many on the Right.

But what was not new ground or unexpected was the Leftist response: the hackneyed and baseless claims of racialism.

The half-century-old, boy-who-cries-wolf, Leftist repertoire of racialism is well-conditioned. And the tactic has worked well in America for years in insulating the Left against any legitimate challenge made against it. Is it any wonder that these Leftist agitators fall so easily and lazily into their pre-programmed mantra once again? Of course not.
