ACORN Cries Racism, Calls in Barack Obama Supporters for Aid

I've watched with no small amount of glee these last several days the literal beat-down the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (better known as ACORN) has been receiving at the hands of two under-25 journalists who seem to be doing the hard work and investigation of Barack Obama's favorite national community organization that the mainstream media chose not to do for itself.

At least three video recordings now exist of the two -- 25-year old James O'Keefe and 20-year old Hannah Giles -- got together and cooked up a plan to expose the utter lack of morality or even awareness of the need to obey the law that seems to permeate ACORN at every level of its organization.

Visiting what's probably going to turn out to be many ACORN city offices, the pair disguised themselves as a pimp and his, ah..."lady." Making extremely clear what their business was, the two sought out advice and assistance from the ACORN folks in how best to set up a brothel, how to disguise young girls as something other than what they were really going to be (underage prostitutes) and how not to get caught on their taxes doing it.

Turns out the good folks at ACORN were more than willing to lend an ear, a bit of advice -- especially on what to call Giles (a "performance artist") -- and also a pep talk. One office worker was shown telling the two to "be proud" of what they were doing. Probably because in the ACORN universe, such a business was just a way to "Get rich or die trying," to quote the immortal Fifty Cent.

Naturally, the head honchos at ACORN aren't taking their folks being caught in flagrante delicto lightly...

I don’t see how it could be racist unless ACORN is a black organization, which would prompt the question whether it is they who are racist.

I can’t help but feel that Giles, O’Keefe and Beck are inciting ACORN to do something stupid. They seem to be whacking them with a bigger stick every day.

Anyone or any organization that goes to its defense now is defending tax fraud, mortgage fraud, human trafficking and prostitution.

They (ACORN) talk a good fight but like every other bunch of liberals they have no idea how to organize a fire team or what to do in a firefight. They’d go down in a microsecond in a stand-up action, which is what O’Keefe, Giles and Beck are giving them.

Hmm, I've been against ACORN merely due to what I hear of their practices and agenda. I have absolutely no idea what the racial makeup is of their members, nor the people they serve/support/organize. You know what, I don't care, and I don't want to know. I just want them to stop their anti-American socialist agenda.

So would they still call me "racist" just because I oppose them? Sadly, I believe so. It seems "racism" is the new throw-down charge when you have nothing left to lose. Look for obama to use it when his administration crashes and burns.

I have some tendency to agree. Furthermore, that "inciting ACORN to do something stupid" will come if ACORN proceeds with a lawsuit against FOXNews.....because FOXNews will use the case to thoroughly investigate and then expose ACORN and all its criminal and questionable tendrils.

ACORN is taking concentrated fire while firing wildly in the air themselves. Air support has decided the mission is too dangerous and won’t be rescuing ACORN troops.
