Besides being verbally attacked by the Arab News, now the Florida police will not even protect her. When it comes to Islam they are as uninformed as the NYPD and LAPD are.

ORLANDO, Fla. — An investigation by Florida authorities has found that there were no credible threats to a teenager who ran away from her Ohio home because she says she feared for her life after converting to Christianity from Islam.

If she is forced to return, she’ll be drugged, put on a plane to Sri Lanka, taken far out of sight, and killed.
The Police are more interested in appeasing the violent Muslims than a girls safety who will be an adult in a matter of months.

Sorry, but I have absolutely NO faith in the conclusions they brought back to the court. My guess is not a single person involved in the investigation has a really good grip on just how screwy Islam and its adherents are. I wonder if anyone even traveled up there to interview her parents or others in the mosque she deserted. Even if they did you full well they were told by the parents and others interviewed exactly what they thought they wanted to hear.
I would truly fear for her safety were she to be returned to her parents. IMHO, no lasting harm can come from letting her stay here in Florida until she turns 18, at which time she can make her own decision about where to go and where to live.

I doubt that they know anything about Islam, and would believe anything that the parents told them.
What would they consider to be a “credible threat”?
Does the fact that the family has sold their businesses preparing to leave the country mean anything? Does the fact that what she fears is commonplace in the country her father hails from?
She didn’t report these threats to the police, so, no kidding, these ace investigators aren’t going to find any “reports” of death threats. They took place within the home, and more than that, she grew up in the culture. She knows what happens to girls who step out of line. If her dad never said a threatening word, but started packing her bags for a trip home, she knows her future is either an unmarked grave or marriage to some 60 year old imam.
But if she didn’t “report” it at the time, she has certainly reported it now. So now what is their excuse?
She is close enough to eighteen that she should be declared an emancipated minor. That ends the discussion.
Now, as far as I’m concerned, she should simply disappear from sight for 6 months, and don’t resurface until after her eighteenth birthday. When your life and liberty are at stake, don’t trust them to the morally obtuse.
The authorities are ignorant on Islam, and obviously they took not time to do any research.
