Enemy Of The People (The Media) Banned From Sarah Palin’s Hong Kong Speech
Governor Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 09/14/2009 10:48:27 AM PDT by MaxCUA

The Hill has reported that the media will not be permitted to attend Governor Palin’s keynote speaking engagement on Wednesday the 23rd of September.

This is great news considering the media has become an embarrassment and in my opinion the most dangerous entity in the world, al Qaeda #2. It is very simple, they have sided with radical Islam verse America, put Obama into power and continue to cover for him, at our detriment, despite the disaster he is and is creating.

I thought there was a news report going around that the folks that invited her were actually joking, that they didn’t expect her to come nor did they really want her to come!

Just as well, the media can’t comprehend anything Palin says anyways. I hear Palin give a speech, then read what the media says, and I swear they must have seen a different speech.

Given the fee, plus travel and lodging expenses in Hong Kong, it’s one expensive “joke.”

So, if one’s being played, they’re paying through the nose to do it.

Has the media been allowed to attend previosu speeches at the same venue? I’d doubt it. Usually when some groups shells out a nice stipend for a speaker they don’t want some media horde there disrupting things. It’d be interesting to see if other speakers had media coverage. I’m sure Obama has given plnety of speeches without media coverage. Same with Clinton and all his speeches he’s given since leaving office.

Besides, if she says anything of note, that will come out anyway. My suggestion was for her to learn the first few sentences of her speech in Cantonese and start off that way. That’d shake things up.

Good move. If Sarah said the sky is blue, the media will report it’s raining and bring umbrellas. She’s learning now that the media is the enemy instead of pretending they’re harmless in 2008.

She, we, FOX, everybody needs to start referring to them as the LAME Stream Media with heavy emphasis on LAME. They want to call us names, we should turn the tactic right back at ‘em.

Calling them MAIN is much, much too kind.

She’s gaining worldwide stature which is what the media accused her of NOT having any of during the 08 election cycle.

Besides, the media doesn't have to see the speech to report on it. I can write the media version before it even takes place:

(AP) - Today Sarah Palin pimped herself out to give a speech in front of rich foreign crooks. Palin seemed disorientated and her speech further proved she is not ready to handle foreign affairs. Palin's speech was littered with hate-filled rhetoric professing the wisdom of the advancing the concept of free-markets which is the sole-cause of all the current economic failures. Palin once again proved she is an idiot. And her $5000 Gucci shoes looked terrible and proved how out of touch with starving people in Africa she really is.

Mrs. Palin does not need the media, she speaks to the people.

“Enemy Of The People (The Media)”

Exactly!

FINALLY! The Rush Limbaugh Show | 9/14/09
Rush proposes next tea party events at National Media Outlets

The media is the enemy’s front line defense, until they are confronted and exposed nothing gets better! There is an ABC,NBC, CBS, CNN affiliate in every city. We could ALL attend these protests nationwide! At least they would get local coverage...my CBS affiliate had NO news on Saturday night - zip! They can ignore and lie about protests when held in one spot, but they can’t ignore us in every city at the same time.

They should cover her speech like they covered Rahm Emmanuel’s safari to Kenya in December 08.

Go Sarah! - This is excellent news and a lesson for all Conservatives.
Sarah disregards Oprah - Oprah does not exist,
Sarah disregards Couric - Couric does not exist,
Sarah disregards Letterman - Letterman does not exist.

I heard they made the invitation thinking she wouldn’t accept and one of the officials saying it had been a joke(”I hope she understands the invitation was a joke” was the quote). Now I wish I had saved the link because I saw this posted on FR somewhere. My guess was that she accepted and now they have to save face. They won’t allow the media because they wish to minimise the embarrassment to themselves.

Yet I think when they meet the real Sarah Palin unfiltered by the media hype, I think they will be very pleasently surprised. The Chinese are pissed with Obama now,(Hong Kong is run by the mainland after all ) so it might be in their interest to feature Palin very prominently!
