Now some may not remember Mrs. Baines other than the recent news of her passing but the media covered her during the presidential election of 2008. The MSM were all excited because the oldest living woman voted for Mr. Obama and they noted that she voted for him "because he's for the colored".

"We're hoping she will be around for the next election" said the nursing director of the nursing home where Mrs. Baines was staying but I guess they will not have their wish granted, or maybe in some miraclous way she will reach from the grave and vote for Mr. Obama again. It has happened before and I am sure it could happen again.

I can’t fault that old gal for her POV - although terribly naive, I’d say she probably earned it. I’m not as forgiving about those who exploit her ignorance for their own gain.
