I think this is why they want health care reform by Thanksgiving at the latest. That still leaves them enough time to ram through immigration reform before adjourning for the year. Congress typically adjourns in about the third week of December during odd calendar years:

Plenty of time to make the “illegals” who won’t qualify for subsidized coverage in the bill enacted in November to become “legal immigrants awaiting citizenship” by the time
health care reform actually kicks in (2013). In the meantime, the newly legalized immigrants can convey their gratitude at the polls in 2010 and 2012.
“Deceit” seems like too mild a term to use for this blatantly self-serving misuse of power by Democrats. They intend to remain a majority party for decades, faithfully re-elected by the grateful recipients of welfare state largesse.
What do the job openings look like? It’s a thought...

The Border Patrol reports a major reason deported criminal illegal aliens return immediately to the United States after deportation is because they have left behind children born here. Former Homeland Security Director, Michael Chertoff, reported there are two million criminal illegal aliens.
