It's hard to pick the point made by President Obama that is the most absurd. Still, right up near the top at least is the idea that much of his health care proposal will be paid by finding fraud, waste and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid. Now, there's no doubt there's plenty there. Yet, no one believes that the President will suddenly wave a magic wand and find it. Remember when the president said he'd go through the budget line by line to find waste, fraud, and abuse. How's that working out? Our budget just increased by about 25%.

Because government programs are bankrupt because of fraud and abuse allowed by the government...we should bankrupt the private..solvent..sector and replace it with a government program???
Finding fraud in Medicare and Medicaid???....Government inspectors coming to every medical facility in the country?? They will wear special arm bands so you will know who they are.
Isn’t this sort of like not buying something you can’t afford and then using the money you saved by not buying it to buy something else you can’t afford and then looking at the difference between the two and seeing it as a net gain? ? Liberal logic vs. good ol “cowboy logic.”
Heard today that those foolish enough to sign up for the cash-for-clunkers program will now have to pay a tax on the amount provided by the Government. I believe $4,500 equates to a $750.00 Tax.
The problem with this whole thing is that the Senate will go for the “majority vote” in the end....Obama knows he’s just cruising through this...He copuld care less about bad press...as long as he has press....and he’s pretty much overshadowed the week....even altering the theme of 9-11. A day of service??? No....A day we will never forget. People died at the hand of Muslim terrorists...
0 will find that Medicare is a total waste and we can defund it. any care is wasted as they all gonna die soon any way.

news flash.....people should be encouraged to be more active and walk more...sure cure or help for bad backs, bad necks, obesity,diabetes, heart disease etc...yet the govt encourages people to NOT walk thru suppling little scooters and handicap stickers to people that do not need them...
that off my chest, there is plenty of over use and yes some doctors go along with it but the attitude of those on govt care is that EVERYTHING should be available...thats why there is such an over prescription of antibiotics and narcotics...people almost demand them...
I'll say this though....my adult dtr is on Medicaid...the doctor has to file tons of paperwork and doesn't get paid to well after specific treatments and the only reason he keeps doing it I think is because he knows me....
Why wait to find the fraud. Start now!
With all that current fraud waste and abuse chat will happen with national health care fraud waste and abuse? times 10? Does anyone believe anything Obama says anymore?
