As a resident I would like to say that Baltimore and Prince George’s County have given the rest of Maryland a bad name.
The vast numbers of voters of these two places mean that the rest of us are outvoted. Certainly Maryland has plenty of liberals, but they are disproportionately located in Baltimore and Prince Georges Counties.
These two areas are a bit like Maryland’s ,South Africa.
Whether or not the blind prosecutors try to prosecute O’Keefe and his colleague, these events should be a rallying cry for all Americans, individually and collectively, to root out Acorn and its corrupt, criminal activities.
Across the nation—wherever Acorn commits crimes—using and audio and video taping, covert observations, documentation and exposure for public scrutiny.
Acorn is trying to assassinate the United States.
Where we make our mistake is assuming that the democrats come from a stance of using the law...to them the law is irrelevant, it is the punishment. The oppression of opposing views that matters. When law is a good tool for their evil purposes they use it, when law is in the way they change it or even ignore it. The focus however, is not that they use law but that they do evil. That is what matters. Getting dragged into the details of how they do that sometimes provides them cover with their own bullsh**. We must focus on the evil intent, the oppression. It is the only way to successfully fight them. Otherwise we fight on their ground all the time.
Spot on! Good morning General!
Yhe situation was correct and the players except it was Boehner not Delay.
Is Patricia Black??
Another oak grown from a tiny acorn. The Obama administration should be renamed the Acorn administration.
As others have noted, it was a House GOP Leadership phone conversation, Gingrich, Boehner, DeLay, others. My memory is that one of them sued the far-left Washington State congressman, McDermott, who provided them to the NYT.
This is an excerpt from Conservative News Service found at http://www.snapshield.com/www_problems/United_States/Phone%20Tapping%20Case%20Dropped%20—%2007-30-1998.htm
“A federal judge scolded defendant Rep. Jim McDermott, (D-WA), as he threw out the lawsuit against him accusing him of releasing tape-recorded phone calls made by House Speaker Newt Gingrich, (R-GA), to the press. The lawsuit against McDermott was filed Rep. John Boehner (R-OH).
“McDermott has never confessed to releasing the tapes. U.S. District Judge Thomas F. Hogan reluctantly dismissed the case.
“’The First Amendment is largely blind to motives, however, and it offers protection not only to the noble, but also to the ignoble,’ said Hogan. ‘Thus, Rep. McDermott’s actions are protected under the amendment, and the court must grant his motion to dismiss,’ he said.
“Hogan continued to criticize McDermott who, “successfully located and exploited the loopholes” in Florida and federal law. “It is unfortunate that a United States representative, who had chosen a position that supposedly illuminated him as a beacon of ethical behavior, should so eagerly seek to capitalize on the skullduggery of would-be party operatives to win petty, partisan victories in the press,” said Hogan.”
Like an episode from “The Wire.” Life imitates art.
Patricia Jessamy
Thanks
Isnt it odd how the Democraps are so often able to escape Justice.
In a just world the office of the MD State’s Attorney would be investigated for allowing ACORN corruption to be practiced so vigorously in its jurisdiction.
There is nothing stopping a good investigative news reporter from doing so.
A good place to start is OpenSecrets.org. Check out who has been contributing to the States Attorneys campaign.
