WOW WOW!!! New Jersey rocks with massive nighttime rally – despite awful weather!!!

Thank you sooooo much to the fantastic people of New Jersey!! We just completed our last Tea Party Express rally before we hit Washington, D.C. and we were blown away.

We arrived 1 1/2 hours late (due to atrocious traffic on the roads from Bridgeport, CT) and again faced a cold, windy, rain-soaked environment. But much to our excitement and dismay — we were greeted by a tremendous crowd of thousands of enthusiastic patriots.

When we finally pulled up to the rally at the Town Hall square in Toms River, NJ the police were on hand to escort our big blue bus through the throngs of people to be near the stage.

Our sound truck was even further behind, so we had to stall a bit by singing God Bless America, America the Beautiful, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and hearing from a 9/11 survivor via a bullhorn. It was spontaneous, beautiful and emotional. I can’t recall a time during this tour where we felt more proud of America. The people were so inspired and passionate and there was an even greater love of our country than we’d seen at previous rally stops. And that says a lot — because the crowds up until now have been amazing. But there was something special about tonight – it was a magical experience. I tried to capture the crowd as best I could in the dark, rainy night with my cell phone camera. Enjoy… we certainly did!

NJ was once a very nice place. Maybe people there will finally wake up.

NJ was once a very nice place. Maybe people there will finally wake up.

If only that would happen. Yet somehow, given the illogical voting habits of folks here, I seriously doubt it. I hope I am surprised and proven wrong.

WOW! Almost looks like they have pitchforks and torches. Great crowd on probably a rainy and cold night.

LOL - If We the People march on DC again, the corrupt will probably be worrying about high-speed projectiles rather than farming implements.
