On this day of remembrance, as we pray for those who died and the families and friends they left behind, we must never forget that our enemies are real and still out there waiting for the next opportunity to attack. Although the events of 9/11/2001 and 12/07/1941 are sixty years apart, they share much in common........And both produced a stunning reaction of, how could this happen? Ultimately each event led to a declaration of war.
In today's world of terrorism and evil there are no rules of engagement for our enemy. When the people you battle live in the sewer, more often than not, you need to get down in there with them.......you don't have to like it, but if you want security at home, if you want to give our fighting men and women the support they deserve, then you have to realize and understand that those ..................
We cannot be a part of a global community and extend a hand to those who would cut it off! The rights of terrorists, ....pale when it comes to your right, your families right, our childrens right to live.
On this day of mourning, I call upon the President........to shut down Eric Holders needless investigation of the CIA, to strengthen our border security and finish the fence. Stop illegal immigration and expel all illegal immigrants, and please stop the insane witch hunt by your party to discredit the Bush Administration and the conduct of The War On Terror. Issue no more apologies for our Countries past and present actions and stand firm with our allies. The moral high ground is no place to be when fighting terrorists. The best way to honor the dead is to ensure this never happens again.

I will never forget. Freepers will never forget. But I fear too many in the general population already have forgotten.
I found the order not only significant and telling, but highly disturbing.
The body of the letter is even more disturbing. In it, the President (or his proxy) writes, "We are building a new foundation for growth and prosperity, but we cannot succeed without your help. We can rebuild out schools, but we need mentors and tutors to guide our students. We can modernize our health system, but we need volunteers to care for the sick and assist others in leading healthier lives. We can invest in clean energy, but we need people to maintain energy efficiency in their homes and help create a green economy."
What exactly does commemorating an attack against American civilians who were beginning their work day at their places of employment have to do with "investing in clean energy?" Not a blessed thing.
This letter, like almost everything else that emanates from Obama and the Democratic Party and is dutifully retransmitted by the mainstream media, is about what they want for America and nothing else.
At the funeral mass for Sen. Kennedy, the very first petition (normally, it would be for the Church, the sick, or, especially at a funeral, the souls of the deceased and what we Catholics refer to as "the faithful departed".) The memorial service for Sen. Wellstone was 80% campaign rally, 10% political event, and 10% to celebrate the life of the deceased.
Even when the dead are their own, the Democrats place their political agenda ahead of everything including honoring the dead. And the mainstream media dutifully supports their efforts.
Go to Obama's serve.gov and see what others are doing on this day. According to the Heritage Foundation, "In Oklahoma students will pull weeds, plant flowers, paint benches, and plant a tree. In Minnesota, 100 volunteers will assemble Energy Efficiency Outreach Bags. And in South Carolina AmeriCorps members will serve in a variety of projects, including garden beautification, food and clothing collections, and working with homeless and hungry people."
None of that has even the faintest connection to what happened eight years ago on 9-11.
Leave it to Obama and the Democrats to find new and creative ways to desecrate the memory of those who died on 9-11, and especially the 343 firefighters and paramedics and 60 police officers who perished while bringing others to safety. It is an absolute disgrace to, on this day, diminish their ultimate sacrifice by featuring those who "assemble Energy Efficiency Outreach Bags" (whatever that is) or beautify gardens.
And leave it to the mainstream media to feature them (in a dutifully laudatory tone) instead of on what we should be focused as we recall that terrible day.
I repeat again....THERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU NEVER MOVE ON FROM! That speech is disgracful and pure disrespect to the innocent lives lost that day and a slap in the face to every life lost in the WAR ON TERROR as well as to all those who served and are serving today fighting and dying in HIS WAR NOW!
It's time to celebrate our freedom or learn to “crouch down and lick the hands that feed” us.
