Ann Coulter Shoots It Out with Bill O'Reilly on Obama Speech; Health Care Bill - Video 9/10/09

Here is video of Ann Coulter shooting it out with Bill O'Reilly tonight over President Obama's Health Care Speech.

Coulter totally disagreed with O'Reilly that regulation in Health Care will make insurance companies more honest. Coulter believes competition is the better way, and pointed to the failure of regulation to prevent the mortgage meltdown.

Coulter praised South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson for speaking the truth when he yelled out to Obama "You Lied." Coulter pointed out Democrats had voted down amendments that would have prevented coverage of illegal aliens and abortions.

O'Reilly defended Obama as having said he would not cover illegal aliens, as if he believes because Obama said it, we can trust him! . . . (VIDEO)

No it doesn’t feel fair, but arent you supposed to pay premiums for a while as “insurance” BEFORE making a claim?

BOR was pathetic tonight; before he went on vacation I thought perhaps he was starting to see the light, but he’s been defending O all week long....

I’m talking about someone who paid their premiums but gets a disease like cancer. If they leave their current insured job, what insurance company will insure them in their next position or if they decide to retire?

Ann was not a happy camper tonight. I like her when she’s mad.

Well, Honestly? hows that supposed to work? Even the Republicans said they want it. Insurance company’s would go broke! The only possible way to spread the odds would be to FORCE everyone into one pool. And who’s that gonna be you RNC twidgets? Uncle Sugar! I cant believe the RNC said they back the idea.

If Obama, Democrats (and Republicans?) makes the insurance companies cover/pay for pre existing conditions while at the same time he offers a tax subsidized government run option it won't be long until we have a -- government run single payer system.

It started when BO slammed the Swift Boat Vets. He has been a douchebag ever since.
I agree - I remember that night, 1st thought I was hearing
him wrong, and then thought he must have said that for
ratings.

I don’t know how to work it out, but it doesn’t seem fair that someone with cancer or a similar condition can’t get health insurance. This might be the perfect example when the government should step in and insure you.

There is no such time as a good time for the government to help. Also, show me in the Constitution (remember, enumerated powers) where the federal government is permitted to offer health insurance. A true free market (this also means massive deregulation; we only have a partial free market now) would help your scenario in the following ways:

The free market sounds heartless and cold on paper--and it is, to business owners, but it increases the overall wealth of society and holds people more accountable than any pontificating politician ever could.

Yes, and the soft spot in BO’s heart matches the one in his soft head. Did you read his article in Parade Magazine about what a good example for kids Obama is? Sickening.

Exactly! Why are the GOP even trying to come up w/a plan? What about standing on - NO gov’t controlled health care - nothing to discuss. Well, it’s not like the commies are listening anyway.

“Although Coulter was totally wrong when she said competition would make insurance companies insure people with pre-existing conditions. Yeah, right.”

Ann was correct, you need to learn more about free market principles...Think of computers and all the features you get that really the companies do not have to supply except to compete for your business. No government oversite or regulation, just good ole free market forces at work.

Again, I wish there are more American women like Ann! She is aware, knows topic and able to directly take on the lies presented as marginal truth; just by using common sense. Bill on the other hand is a true “Friend of Government,” trying to needle himself through a small hole and asking if it was good for you.

That is a real problem and Health care shouldn’t be tied to employers or regions. You should be able to shop around for a plan that crosses state lines and isn’t tied to an employer just like auto insurance.

That said, I have lost a job and health care and a wife and child all at the same time.

Should there be some kind of insurance?

I got a new job, new insurance, saw the kid as much as I can afford, tried to build family ties for the Kid by insuring visitations to places with family in other states.

Life happens sometimes. I dont know how we can possibly prevent Life from happening

I like Ann, but O’Reilly is smarter and more of a conservative, IMHO.

BOR has been defending and covering for Obama since The Great Pretender was sworn in.

He has not only slammed the Swifties, but he slammed Free Republic as well. Remember?

Then, the night before last when he had Beck as his guest, he told Glenn, "Communism is no longer a threat (exact quote)."

Glenn was codswalloped, but to his credit, he refrained from embarrassing O'Reilly as he could have. But I'll bet Glenn's eyebrows are still stuck to the TV studio ceiling.

Since virtually every "star" on Fox is occupying a rightist position, the egotistical O'Reilly is being forced to the left in order to appear not to be one of them. He want's to be the king of anything all by himself.

He's still is able to fool a lot of people, including some freepers, though. To me, he's fair and unbalanced.

What is O’Really’s major malfunction? So in otherwords we’re supposed to believe the Liar-In-Chief because he says it in a nationally televised speech and pay no attention to what’s going on behind the curtain as Coulter so adeptly tries to explain, because as Bill opines, if the Bill is passed, with abortion and illegal immigrants covered, only then will we know that Obama was lying. O’Really? And then what O Reilly?

Looked at all current posts through #59. What ever happened to the Ann Coulter rule?

I'm reinstating the rule now.
