Sarah Palin's op ed yesterday was apparently so good that several of my liberal readers claimed that it was ghost written. I don't know about all that but I thought that it was well written. My problem is that she's been haphazard on the health care issue. She will issue a statement, facebook post, or op ed from time to time, but she isn't getting forcefully into the debate. Well, it's almost as though she read my piece. On cue, she issued a new post on Face Book responding to Obama's speech.

I hope she will start to do interviews soon!
I hope she is in DC on Saturday 9-12
Jack Webb had it right many years ago:

Mike, criticizing her for being “haphazard” on the issue is total BS. She’s been out front on it, while other Republicans have mostly just sucked their thumbs.
Palin has a manuscript to deliver to her publisher, and though we don’t know what the deadline is on it, we do know there is a deadline. Everything she wants to do in the future hinges on meeting her part of the bargain with her publishers for her book.
Her dad last week said that it was 85% written. But even after she finishes it, her editor will probably send it back with some recommended changes. This is S.O.P. for book authors and their editors. So she won’t have writing this book behind her until she has had what changes she agree to make and sends the manuscript back. Then she will be free to devote more time to the debate on health care and other issues.
But even while writing the book, she has managed to drive the debate on health care and has the White House running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
So cut her a little slack. If you want to criticize someone for not being up front enough on the health care issues, look inside the Beltway. Where is the leadership? Look everywhere. Where is Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Tim Pawlenty, Haley Barbour, Mitch Daniels, Bobby Jindal, etc. on the issue?
Sarah Palin has more spine than the rest of them put together. And she’s doing more, even though she has a major commitment to fulfill with her publisher.

Odd, Sarah is about the only voice of prominent Repbulicans speaking out on this issue. I want to shove a sock down Micheal Steele’s throat every time I see his commercial. Just a big government solution to oppose Obama’s big government solution.
Of course they think it’s ghostwritten. They assume that any conservative leader must be as utterly moronic as their Dear Leader, President DumBO.
And where do all these random idiots get off telling her and us what she needs to do in order to be taken more seriously?
She’s doing a fine job without the author nitpicking over her.
