After all the rhetoric is put aside, one principle ran through President Obama’s speech tonight: that increased government involvement in health care can solve its problems.

Many Americans fundamentally disagree with this idea. We know from long experience that the creation of a massive new bureaucracy will not provide us with “more stability and security,” but just the opposite. It's hard to believe the President when he says that this time he and his team of bureaucrats have finally figured out how to do things right if only we’ll take them at their word.

What’s more, Barack’s political crowd has been SALIVATING ever since the Communist Revolution to see similar “change” come to America. He cited how the discussion of socilized medicine programs go back to the days of Teddy Roosevelt. Doesn’t mean that it is “right” or compatible with the American system of governance and liberty that has guided this country for over 200 years.

Yes there is something to be worried about. Socialist countries do not have a very good track record when it comes to human rights abuses. Read the constitutions of communist countries, and those that have failed, most claim to be socialist not communist. Health care is just the beginning...

I’m not sure why Americans are so concerned now. Hell, we have been turning into a fascist/socialist country ever since Teddy Roosevelt. Why now do we complain?

Americans have always been right of center. Something else has changed. There has been a revolution in the way information is deseminated. We may be now at a tipping point.
